Martez Sheard, known to the music world as Tez Shed was born in Jackson, Mississippi back in August of '79. He spent a few years in the south before his family migrated up north to Illinois. He grew up in various communities from Chicago to Bolingbrook from the 80s to the 90s. Listening to local bands around the area as well as mainstream music, he began freestyling and writing lyrics. Learning from his big cousin Bay, he bought a karaoke machine aND used instrumentals from sIngles aND bEgan making music. He then formed a group with his cousin Lashun aND began performing at talent shows. Over the next 8 years as technology began to develop, he started to record in professional studios aND by the time the new millennium had arrived he had moved to Lacrosse, Wisconsin, where he would join forces with a local group Murder Boys aND pUT oUT timeless classics for the area. As time went by he would buy his own equipment, form his own independent lable officially aND go on to pUT oUT over 20+ albums under the TrillLife Music Group imprint along with cousins Dino Rashad, Chuck Roc, aND a host of talented artists. That leads us to today. After taking years aND years off he is back in the lab creating special projects to once again reign as King Of Lacrosse……….
